My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I am Joey! I guess where I used to live was not a very nice place, but it was all I knew. Then a lady came and got me and my sisters and brother and we went to a place called the VET OFFICE. THAT was scary! We all had shots, and operations, and stuff, then another lady came and got us. Now I live with this lady and a man. The others call them mommy and daddy, but they tell me I am a Foster Dog, so these are my Foster mom and dad. They tell me someday I will leave because I will be going to my real furever mommy and daddy. I guess it is all ok. I don't understand it all.

I am suppose to tell you about myself, so here goes: They call me Joey, after some guy on a TV show called Friends. They say I am silly like him. I don't think I am silly! I am very serious with all my new school stuff! Anyway, I love to have anything to eat, (big surprise!!) and I think I like these things called toys! I really like to run and play in the yard with the others! Then inside for supper and a snuggle on the couch!

Oh, and when I am outside I am suppose to do my, er, bizness out there. I am catching on to that lesson. I am starting to be very good at remembering it. Sometimes I forget though and then I have to wear a boy diaper in the house. (How Embarrassing!) After that reminder, I do better.

I am shy at first with new people, but I really like them! I am also learning about walking on a leash. That will be fun I think, but that leash thing is a little scary right now. I will learn as much as I can in this foster home, but I bet I can learn really fast when I get to my Furever home! How exciting to have my very own family that will love me and teach me and play with me! Then the best part ever- they will snuggle with me and tuck me in under the covers! Please think about adopting me, I will try my bestest to be a very good boy!

Joey is located in Topeka, KS. He is a 4 yr old Black and Tan Male who weighs 12 lbs, stands 13" tall. Joey has a Docked tail with Cropped ears.
