Beautiful Shelby's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Beautiful Shelby's Story...
Shelby has arrived in rescue! From what we can tell she is housebroken and in good health. This beautiful purebred Blue Tick Beagle was found as a stray, and never claimed. So we really do not know her history. She appears to have had a least one litter of pups. Shelby is getting her vet care updated... and she will be ready to come home soon. Living in a foster home with many dogs and cats. Also OK with the kids she has met. Requested donation is $175 (to help us cover her spay, heartworm test, shots, deworm and deflea.) Transport to NY, CT or NH is available via www.rescueriderstransport.com ***** UPDATE: Shelby is here and now she is spayed. Ready to come home. She's a good girl. Does well on a leash. Housebroken and crate trained without any problems. Shelby is a quiet girl, too! Would even do well in an apartment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beautiful Shelby, a Buffalo Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
