Romeo's Story...
Romeo is true to his name...this lovable mixed breed adolescent puppy exudes freindliness and is determined to make you smile. He loves people of all sizes and dogs too. Found as a stray, we estimate this loverboy to be about 6 months old. Typical of puppies, Romeo craves attention, has lots of energy, is an eager companion, and learns quickly. The investment of a little training on basic commands will result in a well-mannered family member. Romeo weighs about 30 lbs and we estimate his full-size to be medium, (40 lbs) when grown. If dog parks, walks, hikes, and hanging out together sound good to you, then Romeo could be your perfect match.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
