Squiggy's Story...
Squiggy (or Squiggers as I call him) was left at the shelter when he was still a bottle baby. They called me to let me know if a rescue group didn't take him that day, he'd be put down. I couldn't resist him and I rescued him. He grew up and is such a love bug. He will reach out and "touch" you to get your attention when he wants you to pet him. And when you pet him, he stands on his tippy toes and arches his back up to meet your hand. He also likes to lay on the floor with his back legs straight out behind him - very cute! If you're sitting down, he'll just climb right into your lap, curl up and go to sleep. He is a playful, loving kitty who would make a great addition to your family. Please consider adopting Squiggers because he deserves a family of his own. Please complete an adoption application and email it to me. Remember, we are a non-profit organization and operate solely on donations. Your adoption fee is tax deductible.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Squiggy, a Morgan Hill Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Morgan Hill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Morgan Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morgan Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morgan Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morgan Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
