Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dane is a very handsome and sweet, 5-year old, 80-pound, male, brindle-colored American Stafforshire Terrier with cropped ears looking for a loving guardian. Found as a stray, someone cut off his ears to make him look tough, but that is not the case at all with this loving gentle giant! He is gentle and loving with everyone that he meets including children. Dane is a very smart boy and is always eager to learn more. He does already knows the command sit and he takes treats very gently from your fingers. He also walks well on leash. He does well with other friendly dogs, but is probably not suited for a home with cats or small animals.
Dane is neutered, heartworm-tested, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets. He is currently in a foster home in Chicago and would love to have a forever home to call his own!
