Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi,
My name is Rocket. My foster dad says I’m not as fast as a rocket, but I do experience lift off once in a while. I am generally a couch potato, content to sit with my foster dad and watch TV. Once I get outside I do occasionally become a rocket man. I love being in the yard and checking out the neighborhood. I am not afraid of other dogs. I just met a big one when I was out walking and went right up and said hello. Sometimes you have to take the first step. Foster dad says I’m a little fearful of strangers, he thinks I may have had some bad experiences in my previous life. Once I get to know you, I will be all over you. I crave attention. I like nothing better than to be at foster dad’s side. I had a great time when his granddaughter came to visit. I couldn’t get enough loving. She’s a teenager, she taught me how to text message, I wonder if I’m too young for a Facebook page. I am housetrained and crate trained. I don’t spend a lot of time in a crate though. Foster dad says he trusts me completely. I have the run of the house most of the time and can sleep wherever I want. I know how to “sit” and “stay”. I’m working on “come”. I love to eat, so food is a good training tool. As a general rule I think most people should carry treats in their pockets all the time, you never know when you will meet a hungry beagle. I love to ride in the car. Did you know there are these buildings that have food? You just drive up to a window and they give you food! Boy, I can’t wait till I’m old enough to drive.
I’m not the kind of guy to get all mushy and beg, but I would love to find a furever home. Foster dad says there is someone out there who will be my perfect match. Is it you?
