MOCHA's Story...
My name is MISTY and I was born around 9/3/10. I weighed 17.5 lbs. on 1/3/11. I think I’m a Mountain Cur mix and my foster mom says I’m very good with other dogs and that I have NEVER met a stranger since I’m a very friendly little girl! She’s in the process of crate-training me and teaching me to walk on a leash!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MOCHA, a Plainfield Mountain Cur puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Mountain Cur puppy from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur breeders who help with Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
