My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh what a beautiful morning; oh what a beautiful day! I have a wonderful feeling, a kind family will be coming my way! Can you really resist a face like mine? I am Cassie, a darling 9-year-old Skye Terrier/Poodle mix My bundle of sweet fluffiness was turned in by my family. Soon the volunteers noticed that I was urinating blood, a lot of blood. At first, it was thought that I had a bladder infection, but upon further examination, it was determined that I have a rather large bladder stone. My diet was modified with the hopes that the stone would disintegrate and alleviate my problem. Unfortunately, that did not work. The stone was too big for my little self to pass and had to be removed surgically. I’m currently recovering at the shelter but being in a loving, comfortable home would make my healing process faster & a lot easier on me. I dream that one day I will look up into the eyes of my new mommy or daddy as we say to each other, “How wonderful life is not that you’re in my world.”
