Hi World!
My name is Teddy and I’m about the size of a teddy bear, weighing only 11 pounds. I’m a beautiful little bichon mix of about one, with a silky soft coat and a mischievous way about me. While Mom thinks everything I do is cute, her favorite is how helpful I am. You see when somebody leaves a sock or a t-shirt on the floor, I pick it up and carry it to some other part of the house. Mom and Dad call it ‘Teddy’s redecorating service’. (But I do it very gently so that nothing ever gets damaged.)
I love to play with toys of all kinds - from my rope toy to my squeaky bone. As much as I love my toys I’m also good at sharing them (with my doggy foster brother and sisters.) We get along well and like to chase each other at what Mom calls “top speed” around the yard, until we finally get tired and take a long nap. And I like human kids, too, not just furkids! Even though I’m a young guy and love to play, I am also very quiet and mellow. (I learned a long time ago that there’s nothing better than a nice lap and a snuggle!)
Mom says to tell you that I know a lot of things already. I’m housebroken and know commands like “sit” and “come” and “no”. I’m also learning not to be shy around new people. Mom says I’m gaining confidence. I don’t know exactly what she means but she says that’s a really good thing!
So if you’re looking for a sweet little cuddlebug and an “angel”, and have another furkid for me to play with, I might be the one for you.
