Webber's Story...
Webber is a 3yr old italian greyhound mix weighing about 30lbs. She is housebroken, crate trained, good with kids and other dogs. She also does well with cats! She is a very friendly girl with a very loving personality. She can be a bit shy/timid, but she wags her tail a mile a minute when she sees you. She loves her crate and loves taking her bones in there and chewing on them for hours. She loves being outside and laying in the sunshine! She doesn't mind other dogs, but seems more independent. She likes sitting in your lap if you let her. She does a funny little happy dance when she knows it's time to eat. Webber would make a good addtion to any family. She is extremely sweet and loves attention!

Adoption application at www.hope4paws.com and can be emailed to Molly at hallamart@sbcglobal.net. Adoption fee of $275 covers vetting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Webber, a Plainfield Italian Greyhound/Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound/Whippet for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Italian Greyhound/Whippet dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound/Whippet breeders who help with Italian Greyhound/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
