Archy's Story...
My story: Hi, my name is Archy and I really need a home! I am very shy at first but once I'm sure you won't hurt me (and you'll shower me with treats) I'm all yours! See I had a VERY rough life until I was about 5wks old and my foster mom took me in. Someone hurt me and my sister so we were scared of humans. However, with tons of love (and treats) I now follow my foster mom EVERYWHERE! I even sleep curled up on her chest and give her kitty kisses. If you give me two weeks and tons of love (and kitty treats) I know you will be my new hero!

Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Yes | Good with Children: No Small Children

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Archy, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
