My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SIGMUND. Such a good German name (after the famous psychologist) but he is so cute that we can't resist calling him Ziggy. Ziggy is a black and tan miniature dachshund. At just under 3 years old, he is ready for stability and love in his forever home, after being passed from place to place due to death in the family coupled with financial difficulties. Ziggy is a loyal and loving pup, but will take a little while to warm up. Doxie savvy owner would be a plus. So do you have a room in your heart and home for this fellow? Please come and get to know him. Older children OK, but NO cats. Adoption fee $295.

Please go to our site www.odr-inc.org and read our very strict adoption guidelines. These include a doxie-proof fenced area, kids over 10, no cats or other small prey animals, do not work full time away from home (retired or work from home preferred).

Ziggy is all up to date on the medicals (rabies, bordetella, DHPP, Advantage, neutered) and is looking particularly handsome with recent grooming and pedicure. He comes with an all new leash and collar set, toys and blanket, dog food and a free exam card for his next appointment with our Doxie vet at Best Friends Veterinary Medical Center.
