My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Posted January 11. Introducing Gracie, a beautiful 12 week old puppy weighing around 20 pounds. She is very affectionate, will gladly accept hugs, and freely gives kisses. Gracie is really smart and already has been taught and knows down, come and sit. The foster mom has been walking her and she does well on a leash. She has really soft fur that makes you want to hug and snuggle with her.

Gracie is a sweetheart with a wonderful personality, but she is a 12 week old teething puppy and thus a bit mouthy. If this is your first dog, obedience class with be a requirement of the adoption since she is going to be a big girl and will need an owner that knows how to control her.

Gracie along with her brother George are being fostered in a wonderful Downers Grove home. She is fine around cats, and has been introduced to other dogs and is fine with them as well. Grand Children have come over to visit and play with Gracie and she is good with them as well. Again a dog and children with dogs are only as good as the owners teach them to be. The foster mom's grand children have been taught to respect animals, and thus animals respect them back. We don't see any Alpha behavior or food aggression. The foster mom is working on housebreaking, but she is just a puppy, the new family will need patience in continuing all of her training.

The adoption fee for Gracie is $250.00 and includes her spaying (being done on Thursday, January 13th) 1st and 2nd puppy vaccinations, deworming, micro chipped, treated with revolution for fleas and heartworm, along with any other medical she may need. The adoption also comes with a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic. The adoption also comes with 25% off an obedience class at Lucky Dog Academy in Plainfield, 10% off purchase of a 10-visit day care package at Central Bark Doggy Day Care in Oswego, along with a Petco coupon booklet which includes 50% off your first bag of food.

Please note that we are a foster based rescue and do not have a facility, which means all of our animals are cared for in homes of wonderful people who have volunteered their time to help save these animals and provide a home environment while they are waiting for their forever home.

If you would like to meet this beautiful puppy, an adoption application must first be submitted, and then approved prior to meeting any of our animals. You can go to angelsonwheelsanimalrescue.com to download an application or email sspratl@gmail.com and we will be happy to email you one. Thank you for looking at our rescued animals, and wanting to give them a wonderful home.
