Greta's Story...
Greta is an amazingly sweet and calm dog. She has a playful side and has quite a bit of energy when playing with the other dogs, but is basically a very gentle, affectionate and obedient young lady. The cats LOVE her and follow her around on our walks. She is gentle with children. Greta is wonderful in the car and will sit patiently in the back seat while you run quick errands or drop the kids off at school. She is truly a wonderful companion – a great dog to have by your side. Greta weighs 49 lbs and is full grown at one year old. She has been spayed and is up to date on all of her shots. She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks and is microchipped Greta likes her crate and is wonderful on leash. If you would like to give Greta a home, please email cedarfarm@yadtel.net for an adoption application or call us at (336) 251-8877.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Greta, a Mocksville Pointer/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Collie for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Pointer/Collie dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Collie breeders who help with Pointer/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
