Squeaky's Story...
Squeaky is an absolute love. He is a wonderful 6 year old black and white medium hair cat. Early this year he and his mom were surrendered to a shelter. They found his mom a home, but they were going to euthanize Squeaky because he has diabetes. This is really simple to control. He gets 2 shots a day and eats the food from the vet. His name fits him well, as he doesn't meow so much as squeak at us. He has been in foster care with me since the beginning of January. He LOVES to snuggle, and when we pick him up he wants his paws over our shoulder. He is an indoor cat, but when he did get out in the backyard he came when we called his name. I have other kitties and he is fine with them as well as our dog who was respectful. He is amazing in that he will let us give him a bath and let my 4 and 6 year old brush him. He will even snuggle with them. He is the perfect cat and would be a wonderful addition to any family. If I didn't already have 5 cats of my own I would love to keep him. Squeaky is up to date on his shots is neutered and litter box trained! Will you let squeaky be part of your family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Squeaky, a Worcester Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
