Bear's Story...
(Teddy) Bear is a 1.5 year old English Shepherd Mix. He is an absolute sweetheart who loves to play and cuddle. He's quiet, well-mannered, and the tiniest bit shy, but warms up to strangers after one sniff. Bear doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He gets along great with his foster's lab mix, Ginger. Bear is so nice that he even lets Ginger walk all over him, literally!

Bear walks well on leash, sleeps soundly in his crate, and goes potty outside like a good boy. What more could you ask for? Great with dogs and kids, Bear would be a wonderful addition to any family!

He is being fostered in Woburn MA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Worcester English Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Worcester, or seeking a English Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with English Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
