My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am such a handsome beagle....everybody thinks so...muscular, active, and ready to snuggle on the couch whenever you are! I am 8 years old and am a LTL (Lab to Leash) retiree. I get a little nervous and anxious sometimes, so would really do best in a calmer home. I prefer hanging out with women, but if you are the right, patient man, I'll love you, too! I am handsome enough to be a little conceited, but confidence is one thing I need a little work with! I would really love to live with beagle experienced adopters who have a fenced in yard and would be patient with me as I adjust to a new home. It will need to be a fairly local family that will be able to accommodate several meetings with me prior to adoption. This is very important because I have been with my foster family for a very long time and will need to meet with my new family several times before going home with them.

I am cratetrained and mostly housetrained, and while I love to play with other dogs, I would be happiest as an only dog in a home - but maybe with some playdates with other dogs! I am OK with cats. I might chase them every once in a while, but in general., I think they're OK. Young kids are a little too active for me, and make me nervous, so I would do best in a home with all adults. I can sometimes be vocal, so an apartment or condo would NOT work for me. I have been looking for a home for a while now, and would really like to finally find my forever home! Could it be with you?
