My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shawn is so incredibly sweet. He definitely believes that a dog should wag his tail as often as possible! All you have to do is smile at Shawn and his tail starts wagging! As one of our LTL (Lab to Leash) retirees, Shawn would do best with beagle experienced adopters, and a relatively quiet home. Young children definitely overwhelm Shawn, so a home without them would be ideal. (Visiting children would be ok!) Shawn is cratetrained and is working on his housetraining, but he has to have a fenced in yard since walking on a leash is not an enjoyable experience for him - at least at this time. He is comfortable when there are other beagles around, and would not do well as an only pet. He tends to follow the lead of the other dogs, and definitely likes to snuggle up with them! He is good with the kitten in his foster home, and has been good with most people he meets, with perhaps a slight preference for women! :) He's quite the lady's man! Shawn can be vocal when crated, so an apartment or condo would not work well for him. Shawn loves toys and is young, so can be a little mischievous at times, but he will make a great addition to a home. Does it sound like he might be a match with you?
