My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Bulldozer is absolutely bursting with so much energy that his body can barely contain it. He's only seven months old (born July 2010), but he already weighs almost 10 lb. He's not fat, so this fella is going to be a very big cat when he's done growing.

In the meantime, he is extremely full of the joy of living--loves playing with everyone and everything, with a rough-and-tumble style. Life is just a big game to this one. His favorite playmate is a very large, patient, black dog. Bulldozer also wants to play with the older resident cats, but because he can be so rowdy, they're not always so keen on the idea. The 'Dozer is looking for a home where there are some furry playmates who won't be scared by his pedal-to-the-metal style. The perfect home will also not contain a lot of fragile and valuable objects that might get in the way when he's having fun. Because he's so full of energy, and doesn't quite know his own strength, he wouldn't fit well into a home with toddlers, or others who aren't completely steady on their feet.

Bulldozer is not a cuddler yet, but he does like to sleep on the bed with his people, and he likes hanging out on the couch watching sports with his foster dad. He goes full out and then collapses, to "recharge" as his foster dad calls it. Bulldozer loves wrestling, and although gentle with his paws, he will hold down whatever he wants to bite, purring the whole time. He's got charm, confidence, and personality to spare. You absolutely cannot be around him and not be cheered up by all that sunny exuberance. Not to mention, his acrobatic antics, which will have you in stitches.

He has perfect litter box and scratching post habits, and no food issues. Bulldozer, like all ARCF cats for adoption, has been neutered, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in meeting Bulldozer, please fill out the "I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets.
