Lola's Story...
Sometimes we get in a dog that we hope we'll never see an adoption application for! Little Lola is one of those dogs. From day one she made herself right at home and wormed her way into our hearts! Estimated between 3-4 years old and only 8-1/2 lbs., this little sweetheart was dumped onto the mean streets of a south Jersey inner-city and left to fend for herself. Why? Who knows. It was obvious that she recently had pups - maybe she was no longer of any use to some backyard breeder. While very friendly towards cats, Lola was initially snarly to the Pekes in the house - but she adjusted very quickly and now, in only a week, runs around with them all. With humans, she is nothing but a snuggle bug! Her preferred sleeping place is on my pillow with her head on my shoulder. Lola was just spayed and had an umbilical hernia repaired. We hope to adopt her to a home that believes in the song lyrics "Whatever Lola Wants, Lola Gets!" She deserves the best life has to offer! Lola is being fostered in south Jersey and her asking adoption fee is $275. E-MAIL INQUIRIES WILL BE ANSWERED FASTER THAN TELEPHONE CALLS.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Mays Landing Japanese Chin dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Chin for sale in Mays Landing, or seeking a Japanese Chin dog from a breeder in Mays Landing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mays Landing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mays Landing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Chin breeders who help with Japanese Chin rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mays Landing paves the way for another one to be saved.
