My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlotte and Sara are sisters, who were born in August, 2010. They are very attached to each other and must be adopted as a pair. These lucky girls were hand raised and consequently are among the sweetest cats we’ve met. They are teenagers now (in kitty time) and are starting to slow down a little. But don’t be fooled; they are still very playful and spend many more hours awake than their older feline friends in their foster home. The older cats have taught them to use cat scratching paraphernalia and they have taught some of the older cats how to play tag. They just about have everyone convinced that track and field is the best sport for kitties.

Charlotte is slightly bigger and the more athletic of the two. She is very smart so she needs the entertainment and attention her sister provides. She can make a toy out of anything. Occasionally known as “Digger”, she makes sure her litter box deposits are buried deep. Sometimes you have to wonder if China isn’t the goal.

Not to be outdone, Sara follows right behind her bigger sister keeping up with the running games and the wrestling. However, her feelings are not hurt when Charlotte plays with others. It just means Sara gets more lap time. Sara loves to squeeze her eyes shut and meld into your body when she’s held which is so endearing.

Charlotte and Sara, like all ARCF cats for adoption, have been spayed, are microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in meeting Charlotte and Sara, please fill out the "I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
