Mopsey's Story...
Meet Mopsey! Mopsey is a long legged schnauzer/beareded collie mix with the most beautiful eyes you would ever want to see. He's happy go lucky, curious and energetic. Mopsey was rescued from the kill shelter and now that he's being all vetted he wants a new home of his own. Mopsey is working hard on crate training and doing well. He needs a home with room for his long legs to run! He's a little taller than knee high. He looks exactly like a schnauzer but taller and thinner with an actual tail. Please consider letting Mopsey be your fur-ever friend!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mopsey, a Staunton Bearded Collie/Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bearded Collie/Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Bearded Collie/Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bearded Collie/Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Bearded Collie/Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
