Jake's Story...
Jake was rescued from an animal control facility that will not adopt out any bully breed (pits, Am Bulls, mastiffs, etc.) We really have no idea what breeds are in him. The vet estimated him to be anywhere from 10 months to a year, yet he's quite small, just 30 lbs. He has the very typical Bulldog stance. So who knows what he is, boxer, hound, lab, beagle, pit, bulldog? Here's what we do know - he's adorable! And sooo sweet. He loves everyone he meets, is great with cats and other dogs, is housebroken, crate trained and walks well on the leash. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Reisterstown Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Reisterstown, or seeking a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Reisterstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reisterstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reisterstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reisterstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
