Princess Maggie's Story...
Princess Maggie is a 14 month old, 18 lbs., purebred Lhasa Apso who lost her home because the new landlord said, "No dogs allowed!" She was tearfully given to a very elderly woman who found she wasn't able to keep up with an energetic puppy. So, she ended up in rescue. Princess Maggie is sweet, friendly, good as gold with the 3 senior Shih Tzus in her foster home, and LOVES when the grandkids come over to play with her! She cries when they leave. She is housebroken and knows commands such as "sit." Cats are an unknown as there aren't any in her foster home. If you love getting puppy kisses, Princess Maggie is the dog for you! She is being fostered in south Jersey and her asking adoption donation is $300. E-MAIL INQUIRIES WILL BE ANSWERED FASTER THAN TELEPHONE CALLS.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess Maggie, a Mays Landing Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Mays Landing, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Mays Landing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mays Landing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mays Landing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mays Landing paves the way for another one to be saved.
