Isabelle's Story...
Isabelle is a twelve week old female Chihuahua that we received from Roswell Animal Control. She was surrendered because the family already had too many dogs and thank goodness she was. Her head was covered with flea bites and she probably had to fend for herself. She was a ÒwildÓ child and didnÕt get any socialization. Her foster mom is working very hard to help her to learn to be a puppy. She is all white with the most beautiful hazel green eyes. We are working on housetraining. She will need two more puppy shots before she can leave her foster home, but we would be happy to take a deposit to hold her for you. This little girl deserves a chance at a great life because her first twelve weeks were pretty sad.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isabelle, a Albuquerque Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Albuquerque, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Albuquerque.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albuquerque already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albuquerque breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albuquerque paves the way for another one to be saved.
