Gracie's Story...
Gracie Belle is a very sweet Australian Shepherd mix. Gracie was surrendered when her people lost their home. When she came to Four Peaks, she weighed in at 104 pounds! She is currently on a diet and exercise program and has lost 15 pounds!. Gracie is getting around much better and has become much more animated. She LOVES attention and is very willing to please. She knows sit, down, likes to chew on bones, loves her walks and enjoys her car rides. She does well around horses. She is particular about her canine companions however and would probably do best as an only dog. She is spayed and current on her vaccinations. For more information please contact Four Peaks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Scottsdale Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
