Steve McQueen's Story...
Good with cats and kids. A kind boy who is polite, quiet, and listens well. He is calm on a leash and enjoys walks in the park and snuggling. His favorite treats are peanut butter, cream cheese, freeze dried liver, Milkbones and marshmallows. He loves to play with his toys and get belly and neck rubs. He enjoys his kennel. Is a sweet dog who would appreciate being with other dogs and kids in a home that is not too busy. He would make a good therapy dog. This guy really is the "King of Cool"!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Steve McQueen, a Musquodoboit Harbour Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Musquodoboit Harbour, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Musquodoboit Harbour.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Musquodoboit Harbour already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Musquodoboit Harbour breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Musquodoboit Harbour paves the way for another one to be saved.
