Dr. Zulu's Story...
Dr. Zulu here…another precious Pit Bull with a PhD in love and companionship. I studied for years at Harvard, then Yale, then Princeton. Head my class every time. I studied the love of all children and other dogs, and wrote my Thesis on how to become the ultimate family dog. I once took a class on being an outdoor guard dog, but I got an F-…that’s when I decided I was just too sweet and playful to be a tough guy. So, here I am, the fun and energetic college boy. With a name like Dr. Zulu you probably figured I was some sort of mad doctor with a secret lab …But I’m far from that…I’m just a playful and happy young man who is ready to share my higher education in love with all the world… 1 year old-50lbs. My adoption fee is $140 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dr. Zulu, a Portland American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
