Holland's Story...
Holland is a very sweet, trainable, loving, cute, young dog ;-) He LOVES running around playing with dogs and people alike. He would probably greatly benefit from puppy training classes. It’s not that he’s a bad dog, but he’s young and will need some guidance to become the “perfect” dog! He would probably excel in class and make you a proud “parent”. At this time we would recommend him going to a family without young children as he’s a little mouthy. Holland would probably do great with a family who is medium active and who would enjoy the interaction of a young dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holland, a Aldie Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
