Enzo's Story...
Enzo is a 100% cuddle bug, once he gets to know you. Enzo starts off shy but he is well worth the wait. Enzo loves to snuggle in bed with his human companion and adores receiving attention. He is a totally mellow boy that is super gentle with children, is good around other relaxed kitties and he is not frightened by dogs either.

Enzo is around 3 years old and is the strong silent type making him suited for a quiet household. He is well behaved gentleman who is past the hyper, playful kitten stage. So if you are looking for a kitty that will hang out with you while you watch movies or sports on TV, he is your man!

Enzo was found as a stray in Reston, VA at the end of the Blizzard of 2010. He spent months going door to door looking for a family to love. He finally found a family that began feeding him but was unable to provide him with a permanent home, so they contacted 4Paws for help, and now Enzo is looking for his forever home. Can you give this big teddy bear the home and love he is looking for?

Enzo is neutered, has tested negative for FIV & Feline Leukemia, and is up to date on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Enzo, a Merrifield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
