Snoopy's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Snoopy's Story...
Snoopy & his litter mates were rescued from a drainage ditch where they were living.. They were just thrown out like trash :( He is a very sweet boy & very smart, learns fast! He is a bit shy & stand offish at first because of the situation he came from, but at his foster moms it only took him a couple of days to warm up. He is about 60lbs & approx 8-9 months old right now. He currently lives with another male dog & seems to be great with other dogs, and would like a playmate in his furever home. He stays outside during the day right now & spends the night in a crate & does just fine. He would house train easily. Sherwood is heartworm negative, neutered, current on all vaccines and micro chipped. His adoption is $120 to contribute towards his vet costs. Please call 817-980-9781 if you would like an application or more info. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snoopy, a Fort Worth Husky/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Australian Shepherd for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Husky/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Husky/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
