Chloe's Story...
Chloe is an absolutely gorgeous spayed female tabby with lots of love to share with a new family. Chloe and her buddy, Abby, came to us from a person who had too many cats to care for. They are both super sweet gals who deserve the best that life has to offer.

Chloe is a super sweet interactive gal who loves nothing more than to be petted by her humans. While she posed for her pictures like a pro, she was eager to get down and get some loving before I moved on to the next picture. She rewards her humans with a throaty purr and a happy head butt that says - more, more, more please.

Chloe is an older gal, but don't let that deter you. She has many good years to share with a new family. She is a gem of a cat who will make the perfect addition to any cat lover's home. Won't you be the one give her a family to be with in her "golden" years?

All cats with the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, on flea prevention and tested for FIV/FeLV. Adoptions come with a small bag of Hill's Science Diet food and one month free of pet health insurance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Greenville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Greenville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Greenville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenville paves the way for another one to be saved.
