Please contact Theresa (Theresa@BrandyKegKennels.com) for more information about this pet.
Noelle is a very sweet little girl that came into our rescue in November 2010. She appears to have been over-used for breeding in her previous life, and is ready to find her forever home now where she can just be a member of the family. She has a very calm, sweet temperament and gets along great with adults, kids, cats and all other dogs. She is housetrained and living in a foster home now, where she spends her time relaxing or playing with the other dogs and puppies in her temporary home. Noelle is a female Beagle, appears to be purebred, and is probably about 6 or 7 years old, but it is hard to say due to the conditions she lived through before she came into rescue- she may be younger than she appears to be, but we are not sure of her exact age. She is up to date on all shots, has tested negative for heartworm and is on monthly heartworm preventative, and is fully vetted with the exception of her spay.
Please note that Noelle probably cannot be spayed due to medical reasons. Our vet discovered a heart murmur at her 3/2011 examination, and cautioned against spaying due to the risks associated with anesthesia, as well as the Beagle tendency to gain weight after spays, which could further complicate the heart murmur.
All of our adoptable pets are located at our home kennel location in Frankfort, NY, which is in Central NY State, about 45 miles east of Syracuse and 90 miles west of Albany. Transportation assistance following adoption may be available if you live out of the area.
Adoption fee/donation is $250, which helps to cover their rescue pull fees, transport north following rescue, initial veterinary care and maintenance/preventative care while they are with us. All pups under 6 months of age and any dog that is adopted out prior to being spayed or neutered will be adopted out with a Spay/Neuter Contract required at time of adoption.
If you are interested in adopting one of our guys or gals, please contact us via email at Rescue@BrandyKegKennels.com or via phone at 315-895-7978 for an Adoption Application.

Rescue Group Info...
We are a small kennel and foster-based rescue group in Central New York State. The majority of the dogs and puppies that we rescue come from high-kill shelters in the South, primarily NC and SC- we rescue them and bring them north to give them the second chance that they deserve at a happy, healthy life and to help them find their forever homes with families that will cherish them for the wonderful individuals that they are.
You are welcome to call or email us at any time to set up an appointment to come up and meet all of our wonderful boys and girls. Our home rescue kennel is located at 749 Ball Road, Frankfort, NY 13340, though we do have additional dogs and puppies in foster homes throughout Herkimer and Oneida Counties.
Prior to adopting a dog or puppy from our group, you must complete an Adoption Application. Once approved, then we can make arrangements for you to meet the dogs and pups that you are interested in. You are welcome to bring any existing pets to meet them as well, to make sure that the new potential family member is a good fit with the entire family.
If the dog or puppy that you are considering adopting in to your family is not already spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, then your Adoption Contract will include a Spay/Neuter Contract, to ensure that this procedure is completed at the appropriate time by the veterinarian of your choice.
Our adoption fees vary by age and whether the spay/neuter has been completed at the time of rescue, and will always be listed with the description of the individual dog or puppy.
