Bailey's Story...
Bailey (male)

Hello, my name is Bailey. I am a 8 month old black and white cocker spaniel. I get along great with my two play mates ,I love children, but I tend to get over excited and jump a lot. I love to catch balls, just throw one and you will get it back from me. I am crate trained, but I do tend to get excited and sometimes I have accidents. I would love a fenced in back yard cause I love to run and play and just love being outside, I much prefer it to inside and I love to chew cause I am a growing pup. My family has to find me another home due to me being a little hyper, my parent mom has disabilites and even though they love me alot they just can't give me the attention that I need and deserve. If you would like to make me a part of your family please call 318-617-3243 and ask for Suzanne, or email @ Please be patient with her as she is in the hospital alot. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to Pet Savers of $30 for their help in rehoming me and to help assure I go to a good home. Once you adopt me, PLEASE get me spayed/neutered to help control the HUGE overpopulation and euthanasia rate in this area. Robinson’s Rescue low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinic (Shreveport) offers special low-cost pricing for spaying and neutering. Call 318-861-0101 for your spay/neuter appointment ONLY, not about me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Haughton Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Haughton, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Haughton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haughton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haughton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haughton paves the way for another one to be saved.
