My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mozart is Adopted

Mozart is currently fostered in Modac IN and his adoption donation is $300

Mozart is a 2yr old sable and white parti neutered male. He's UTD on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on HW preventative. His tail is docked and dew claws removed.
He was dumped at a farm with his brother, Beethoven, and is now looking for the loving forever home that he so much deserves and will be furever grateful.
Moze is very friendly and loves everyone...men/women/children. He spends all day Thursday with my 3 yr old grandson and I see nothing but adoration between them. He gets along great with his three foster furbrothers.
We're not sure about cats, tho.

He's 99% housetrained using the doggie door. He's crate trained but would prefer not to be in there. He only has to reside there while I'm gone once in a while. He sleeps on the doggie bed on the floor next to me. I do tether him to the bed. I believe that he would do fine in his crate at night as long as it is in your bedroom where he would be close to you.

He walks well on a leash. He has a beautiful field coat which will require less maintenance than a full coat cocker. He doesn't particularly care for a bath, but I assume he's never had one before and will learn to be calm the more baths he gets. He stands very well for his ear cleaning and doesn't mind you using scissors to trim him, but not comfortable with clippers yet.

He will need a tall fenced in yard. He can climb a 3 ft. wire weld fence!
I fully believe he would do quite well in obedience or agility. He just loves to be with his people...a typical velcro cocker!

I believe he would do best with at least one other dog and with someone who's home most of the time for him to be the happiest little wiggle butt possible.
Mozart has so much love to give and is an absolute joy to foster. I will definitely miss him when he leaves me for his perfect furever family.
