My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hi to Bessie! She is an approximately 8 year old female black Labrador mix that weighs in at a stealthy 45-50lbs. Her small size means she has many years in front of her. She would make a perfect playmate for a single dog household looking for a companion pup. She is of medium to low energy and probably would not make a great jogging companion. She was rescued from an animal hoarding situation which can make her a little slow to warm and trust her human friends but, she is calm and quiet with great house manners. She does not require crating and sleeps on a dog bed at the foot of her foster human's bed all thru the night. She interacts well with her foster family's 7 + 9 year old kids but probably would be best suited for a quiet home without young children. She does not jump and was easily corrected from climbing up on the couch. She needs little or no supervision and wanders the house without accidents or any destructive behavior. What she wants most is to spend time right next to(and some times on top of) her foster families 4 year old female Lab Some gentle command training and a soft and tender hand will make you a loyal companion. Could you be her forever family?
