My name is Bruskie and I am SO READY to go to my forever home....!
My original owner bought me for stud purposes but because of my (cute) overbite and the fact my front feet turn out a little bit.....she decided I didn't meet her standards. I think I'm one bundle of cuteness...!
I weigh about 15 lbs., I'm 15 months old, I've been neutered, vaccinated and am heartworm negative. In other words I am ONE HEALTHY DOG.....! I do have a little trouble breathing through my nose and at some future date MAY have to have a little laser work to open it up a bit more,but this is a very common and easy procedure.
I get along well with other dogs and have no problem with the cat that lives here in my foster home. (Of course, I might add, he's BIGGER than me!) I can jump REALLY high so need a VERY secure yard to play in, and I climb chain link fencing, so none of that please. At my former home I didn't get much one on one attention so my housetraining, on a scale of 1 to 10, was a 1 when I arrived at my foster home. However, in just the short time I've been here I'm doing so much better. I do need someone who will be patient with me though, and will continue to work with me until I'm a 10...! I like other dogs, but I LOVE my human. In just the short time I've been with my foster mom I've fallen completely in love with her, follow her everywhere and snuggle up to her at night to sleep. It would be wonderful to have a stay-at-home mom or dad. For a puppy I'm unbelievably mellow.
I'm available right now for that special person that wants me in their life............!!
