Tuffy (AE)'s Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tuffy (AE)'s Story...
Tuffy is a 3 month old lab/pyranees mix that was rescued from a man giving away him and all of his siblings in the Walmart parking lot. His rescuer already has several dogs of her own and can not keep him, but knew that she could find him a better home than his original owner. Tuffy has had his first puppy vaccination, been neutered, and treated for worms and fleas. He gets along well with other dogs. He is a smart guy that loves attention. He is going to be a big dog as an adult though, as he is already 25 pounds! We are working on house training and crate training and Tuffy is doing very well!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tuffy (AE), a Portland Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
