Pickles's Story...
Pickles (b.d. Mar. 2004) is a wonderful companion lapcat, but he is almost totally blind. He has been this way since birth. His eye doctor said this is not painful nor will it worsen. He is not deaf and loud noises or strange voices can make him panic; so, he needs a safe and consistent environment.

Pickles currently lives in a foster home with other older cats and kittens and enjoys their company.

He does not get along with other adult cats unless they have grown up in his home. He likes noisy toys and is playful. Given time to adjust to a new situation he is very affectionate and loves attention.

He is neutered and up to date on his shots.

If you would like to set up an appointment to meet him or have any questions, please email LUVINRESCUES@GMAIL.COM

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pickles, a Dale City Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Dale City, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Dale City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dale City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dale City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dale City paves the way for another one to be saved.
