Lavender: Prison Dog's Story...
This five year old sweetheart is a beagle mix. She is smallish and easy to take care of, very docile and loving, wants nothing more than to be by your side and get ear rubs. She is from Fairfield Humane Society and is in the prison program at Southeastern Correctional in Lancaster, Ohio. She is spayed and housetrained, UTD on all shots, and would prefer a quiet home and a nice long walk every day. She would adapt easily to your home and is perfect for retireds, working folks (who want a dog they don't have to worry about when not home), or anyone who wants the comfort of having a very loving dog to cuddle with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lavender: Prison Dog, a Buffalo Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
