Gus's Story...
Hi, my name is Gus, I am a 14wk., 18 lbs. bundle of love. I love playing with toys, stuffed animals and things that squeak. My sister and I play rough and love chasing one another. I love to snuggle on the couch with humans and fall fast asleep. If you want to get exercise I would be happy to go with you on your walks and keep you safe.
I am looking for a family to call my own. If you are ready for a life companion, and ready to give me a forever home, come see me, I am sure you'll fall in love.
Gus is neutered, microchipped & up to date on his shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueahart.org if you'd like to meet Gus. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gus, a Cincinnati Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
