Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Blitz's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Blitz's Story...
Her dreams of being a Rockette are over! A nasty turn of luck has stopped this little girl in her tracks! Blitz has had quite the year - first she lost her home and then she broke her leg. The final straw? She wound up in a local shelter - poor thing. Too much high kicking, no doubt!

With hard luck behind her, we're happy to say Blitz is in a safe place with CBR-East's growing foster base! Blitz is a pretty little thing who loves people and gets along with other dogs. She is up to date on her shots, and should have a wonderful recovery! Currently we are keeping Blitz quiet so that she does not re-injure herself, but she'll be off to see our veterinarian this week for a progress report!

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Blitz, please complete an adoption application by visiting our web site, clicking the "adoption" tab, reading the guidelines, and submitting an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blitz, a Portland Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
