My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly is a pretty 5 year old mini dachshund. This little sweetie weighs 9-lb and is a red longhair with wonderfully big brown eyes. She came into rescue because her owners just didn't have the time to take care of her. When we got her she had really long nails and one of the nails on her hind leg had curled around and impacted the pad, which had become infected. We took her to the vet and got all her nails trimmed and the infection treated. Now she's on the mend with a little pink bootie on her left hind leg. Molly has a dental scheduled in a few days so her teeth will be nice and clean.

Molly is good with all the other dogs in her foster home. She's got a good appetite and we think she's at her ideal weight. She is housetrained and there have been no accidents. Molly likes to walk on a leash and know basic commands – come, sit, stay and go potty. She's friendly with new people and loves the 12 year old boy in the foster home. Like most dachshunds, she loves the lap and is very partial to belly rubs. Molly is spayed, up to date on all her shots and is ready to find her forever family.
