Houston's Story...
Houston is a 10 week old German Shepherd mix. He's outgoing, friendly, energetic and lovable. Houston loves people of all ages, gets along with other pets and is doggie door trained. Houston would like a home with a doggie buddy and a family willing to teach a little puppy all there is to know. Thankful to be rescued, Houston is ready for his permanent loving home. He's neutered, has his puppy shots, has been wormed and goes home with his health records, new collar, leash and chew toys. Houston's adoption fee is $150. Please email Loretta522@cox.net for more information on Houston and come to meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Houston, a Phoenix German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
