Lois's Story...
Lois is a brown and white Maine Coon mix, about 8 years old. She is a sweet, petite stray, found living under a trailer, frightened and dirty. She likes to cuddle and purrs when you just look at her, in anticipation of pats. Lois would do best in a calm, quiet home.

All of our cats and kittens are delivered spayed or neutered, with all age appropriate immunizations, free of parasites, tested for FIV and Leukemia and microchipped. The adoption fee is $95

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lois, a Putnam Valley Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Putnam Valley, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Putnam Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Putnam Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Putnam Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Putnam Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
