Trixie's Story...
Trixie is in a New England foster home and would love to meet you!"

Trixie was found wandering as a stray just after New Years. She is very playful and gets along great with other dogs! If you're looking for a happy girl to keep you company or to be best buddies with your dog she's your girl! Trixie is 64 lbs, between 2-3 years old and great all around. She has been trained to "sit" and she is very smart and eager to please. Trixie LOVES kids, even small ones. Trixie is all ready for her new home and we are hoping to place her by March 1st. Her foster family is only able to keep her until that time because they're going out of town for a month.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Windham Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler for sale in Windham, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
