My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yep I could be a pirate, one grey side of my face and one white. Looks like a patch, so cute. I am mostly white in the body, and have some grey and cream color splashes. I came from MO, i was left to starve and freeze but a nice rescue person saved us, there are 3 of us. Then they found a rescue in Ohio to take us and we are lucky to be here. I am the friendliest one of the group so far, i love to come up and lick your fingers especially if you have goodies for me. I am very playful, i go most of the day with energy and take long nightime rests. I get along with all dogs, in fact I get so excited I start jumping around wanting to play when I meed new furkids. I like toys and have been investigating them as I have never had toys. I am under 2 y.o. young and looking for a home with another playmate for me and some TLC. I have cropped ears and docked tail. My foster mom thinks i am a schn mix of schn and long hair fox terrier, because I hope with glee alot. :) In rescue we never know but we take good guesses. I could be a pure bred schnauzer that was just starved and I havent' filled out yet or grown my beard or leggins like schnauzers:

'Bootsie's adoption fee is $250 and included all his vetting below and spayed. .
She is being fostered by Sandy & Ron in Akron,Oh area.

Not all our dogs are totally house trained at the time of adoption. We crate train them and some potty pad train them and work on potty skills. When your application is approved, you will speak with the foster Mom for more information and you can check then at what point each foster dog is at. Dogs learn quickly and most are pretty far along or trained by the time of adoption.

____ has been examined by our vet, had a 5/1 annual shot, a rabies shot and tag dewormed, heart worm tested and passed. Spayed or Neutered before adoption. Our rescues are on flea/tick and heartworm monthly preventatives in season. We also do a dental if our vet deems it necessary which is included in our adoption fee. Our adoption fee covers all vetting expenses and a small donation to cover the dogs food and care and supplies while in foster care.

We send your new dog home with a copy of all vet paperwork, adoption papers, a small bag of the dog food they have been on and information on taking care of the dog. Also a health folder for your vet and notes from our foster mom on their schedule, habits and socialization skills.

We do adopt our rescue dogs to adjourning states and some others within driving distance of the foster family. We DO NOT SHIP OUR DOGS--the adoptive parents must meet the dog at the foster mother’s home. This will give the adoptive family a chance to meet the dog before they adopt it. Our dogs are fostered in NE Ohio and surrounding area in private homes we are not a SHELTER! You must apply and make an appointment to meet with the foster family and at their home location above in the description. Before you apply, please be sure you can come within 2 weeks after your application is approved to adopt your rescue dog.
