Trina's Story...
Trina is an adorable almost 2-year old dark-brindle female who recently arrived here in MA with her sister. She is a sweet and lovey young lady who has a tail that wags more than it stays still! Trina loves to be petted and will often nuzzle her head in for some extra scritches!! She is practicing her manners while walking on a leash and is doing really well. Trina is very curious about the world around her and let's her nose do the investigating--this excludes our 3 cats, as she does not seem to be intrigued by them at all. Trina has adjusted well to her foster home and seems very content in her crate chewing on a stuffie toy or just watching the world go by around her. She will make a wonderful companion!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trina, a Ware Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Ware, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Ware.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ware already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ware breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ware paves the way for another one to be saved.
