My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Damon is an adorable 8 month old Lab mix (perhaps Lab/Border Collie?). He is a sweet, fun loving dog that was almost euthanized at a local shelter. Even alone in his kennel at the shelter, he was happy as could be and had no problem entertaining himself! He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is going to grow to be a big, handsome boy. He is already neutered, up to date on all his shots, microchipped, has been dewormed and had flea medication applied. Now he just needs a loving family to take him home!

Damon would love an active family that will exercise him everyday. Once he's old enough, he would make a great jogging, biking, or hiking partner. He loves to play fetch and is learning to bring the toy back. Damon would also love a doggie playmate to keep him company. He is great with other dogs, but he does always want to play! Damon is extremely smart and learning quickly in his foster home. His new family should continue this training. He is already crate trained (learned to go in on command in less than 24 hours!), house trained (no accidents yet!), he rides really well in a car and walks great on leash. He is learning basic commands like Sit and Drop. Damon is content in the backyard by himself and will even entertain himself by collecting toys or throwing them around. He loves his Kongs and bouncy balls. Since Damon is still a puppy he should either be in the yard or crated while his family is away. A family who isn't gone for long hours would be best! Please no children under 12 as he does jump up when he gets excited and no kitties!

Damon is a wonderful, smart Lab pup that is sure to make one lucky family very happy. Please contact your family rep NOW if you are interested in adopting him!
