Bonita: in Clifton's Story...
Bonita is one of two pups that we have accepted from a small terrier hoarder situation in KY. She was tied outside to a tree in the freezing cold. No shelter, no food, no water. Bonita arrives in our care this week and will be receiving vet care and a behavioral evaluation. She will then begin taking visitors! If you would like to be the first to meet our sweet little Bonita, ask for an application today! We promise to post new pics as soon as we can. UPDATE: Bonita made it safely to the vet clinic. She weighed in at 22#. Vet says 6 months of age, and pretty well full grown. Looks healthy. Active and playful. Will be spayed today and ready for adoption by the weekend! Requested donation is $125 to $175 (sliding scale.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonita: in Clifton, a Cincinnati Rat Terrier/Boston Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Boston Terrier for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Boston Terrier puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
